How the WW Games bonus engine works
Deposit bonuses, free spins, welcome chains and promo codes, configured from the admin panel — and the wagering rules, time limits and abuse checks that decide whether a promotion earns more than it costs.
What bonuses can an operator create?
Three types: a percentage of the deposit, a fixed amount, and free spins in a chosen game. Each bonus is a template in the catalogue, and a player receives it through a promo code, automatically on sign-up, or from an administrator.
Every bonus has its own image and text per language, and the text can include the minimum deposit already converted into the player's currency. A bonus can be limited to a total number of activations, which is how a first-come promotion is capped without watching it by hand.
- Percentage
- A share of the deposit, such as 100% up to $500, with an optional cap on the bonus amount and a minimum deposit to activate it.
- Fixed
- A set amount in US dollars, independent of the deposit — the usual shape for a no-deposit offer or a reward for completing a profile.
- Free spins
- A number of spins in one game at a set bet level and denomination. Winnings land on the bonus balance under the same wagering rules.
- Combined
- A percentage bonus can carry a free-spins bonus with it, so one deposit triggers both the match and the spins.
How does wagering work?
Bonus money sits on a bonus balance, apart from real money. The player has to bet the bonus amount times the wager multiplier before it converts, and only bets placed from the bonus balance count towards that total.
A player can have one active wager at a time. That keeps the arithmetic legible for both sides: there is always one requirement, one progress figure and one deadline, rather than several overlapping bonuses competing for the same bets.
Progress is recorded against the ledger entry for each bonus bet. If a game provider later refunds a round, its contribution to the wager is reversed as well — otherwise a player could advance their wagering with rounds the provider went on to cancel.
Two optional limits shape what a completed wager is worth. A maximum withdrawal multiplier caps how much can move to the real balance — at most the bonus amount times that multiplier, with the rest forfeited — which is the standard protection on free spins and no-deposit offers. A bonus wagering category restricts bonus play to a set of games the operator chooses, typically slots rather than low-edge table games.
Bets from the bonus balance earn no XP towards VIP levels, so a promotion cannot be used to climb the loyalty ladder on the house's money.
Can you build a welcome package across several deposits?
Yes. Bonuses marked for sign-up are given to every new player, and they can be chained so that the second unlocks only after the first is finished, the third after the second, and so on.
Each link in the chain names the bonus it follows and when it unlocks: after the previous bonus is claimed (fully wagered), after it is forfeited, or after either. The last option is the usual one for a first, second and third deposit package, because a player who lost the first bonus is still a player you want to bring back for a second deposit.
The same mechanism covers a simpler case: a single welcome bonus that every new player finds waiting in their account, without a code to type. A deposit window sets how long they have to make the qualifying deposit, so a welcome offer does not sit open indefinitely on accounts that never convert.
How do promo codes work, including Telegram channel conditions?
A promo code is a word the player types, such as WELCOME100, that grants a bonus from the catalogue. A code can require the player to be subscribed to one or more Telegram channels before it activates.
The channel condition is what turns a promo code into an acquisition tool for a Telegram audience: free spins for subscribing to your channel is a bonus plus a code with the channel attached. Public channels are named by their handle; private ones by their numeric ID together with an invite link, so the player has a way in.
The admin panel shows how many times each code has been activated. Deleting a code stops it working immediately; deleting a bonus is irreversible, so a bonus that is only paused should be closed with its availability date instead.
Promo codes are separate from promotions. A promotion is an information card on the site's promotions page with its own cover, terms and countdown; a promo code is what actually grants the bonus. Most campaigns use both.
How are free spins configured?
By picking the game, the number of spins, the bet level and the denomination. The spins are issued through the game provider, and whatever they win is credited to the bonus balance with the bonus's wagering requirement.
Because the stake is fixed, the cost of a free-spins offer is bounded before it runs: fifty spins at twenty cents cannot cost more than their possible winnings, and the maximum withdrawal multiplier caps even those. That predictability is why free spins are the usual reward for low-intent actions — a subscription, a verified email, a first login in the Mini App.
Hiding a game from the catalogue shows which free-spin bonuses, other bonuses and tournaments use it before you confirm, so a promotion is not quietly broken by a catalogue change. The full list of studios whose games can carry free spins is on game providers.
In what currency are bonuses set, and how long do they last?
Amounts are set in US dollars and converted into the player's wallet currency at a rate refreshed every hour. Where a round dollar amount would look odd in a local currency, a bonus can carry its own amounts per currency instead.
Three time limits are available, all optional. Availability closes the bonus to new activations after a date. The deposit window is how long a player has to make the qualifying deposit after receiving a percentage bonus. The wager window is how long they have to complete wagering once the bonus is active; when it runs out, the bonus balance is forfeited.
The wager window matters more than it looks. Without one, an unfinished bonus stays on the books as a liability for as long as the player is inactive, and the bonus statistics show it as open rather than lost.
How do you see whether a bonus pays for itself?
Every bonus has a statistics page with a funnel: issued, claimed, wager started, halfway, completed, and the two ways it can end badly — lost on expiry or cancelled. It also shows the outstanding liability and how much has actually converted into real money.
The funnel is split between new and existing players, which answers the question that decides most bonus budgets: is this offer buying new depositors, or paying people who would have deposited anyway?
The same logic runs through the dashboard. NGR there is GGR minus the promotional cost that was actually realised — bonus money that converted into withdrawable balance — and minus provider commission, so an expensive promotion shows up in the headline revenue figure rather than hiding in a separate report. More on the metrics is on the back office page.
How is bonus abuse contained?
The platform's automatic fraud scoring watches for bonus abuse — bonuses on accounts that never deposit, play funded almost entirely by bonus money, and cash-outs that follow a bonus too closely. A player placed on hold cannot claim bonuses or activate promo codes.
The signals feed a risk score alongside shared IP addresses, shared devices and referral patterns, so a single accidental match does not flag a player, while a cluster of new accounts from one device collecting the same no-deposit bonus does. How scoring and holds work is on anti-fraud.
The bonus rules themselves do part of the work. One active wager at a time, a maximum withdrawal multiplier, a restricted wagering category and a wager window each close a common route to extracting bonus money without playing for it. None of them is switched on by default, because the right settings depend on the offer.
Who on your team can grant bonuses?
Only staff given that permission. Viewing the catalogue, managing it and granting a bonus to an individual player are separate permissions, and granting to a player asks for a fresh two-factor code at the moment of the action.
A content manager can therefore build and edit offers without being able to hand one to a friend's account, and every grant is recorded in the audit log with who did it and to whom. Cancelling a player's active wager and removing a pending bonus are available from the player's profile under the same controls.
An administrator-granted bonus goes through the same wagering as any other. The admin guide recommends it over a direct balance adjustment for exactly that reason: a bonus has to be played through, while real money does not. How permissions and step-up confirmation work across the back office is on security.

Bonus system questions
Can a player have two bonuses active at once?
Not two active wagers. A player can hold several granted bonuses, but only one can be active and wagering at a time. The next one becomes available when the current one is claimed or forfeited.
Do bets with real money count towards wagering?
No. Only bets placed from the bonus balance advance the wagering requirement. Real-money bets count towards VIP levels and tournaments instead.
Can I set a no-deposit bonus?
Yes — a fixed-amount or free-spins bonus with no minimum deposit, given on sign-up or through a promo code. It is also the bonus most exposed to abuse, which is why the platform's fraud scoring watches bonuses on accounts that never deposit.
Can a promo code require a Telegram channel subscription?
Yes. A promo code can list one or more Telegram channels the player must be subscribed to before it activates, public or private.
What happens when the wagering deadline passes?
The bonus is forfeited: the remaining bonus balance is removed and the bonus is counted as lost in its statistics.
Is there a limit on how much a player can win from a bonus?
Optionally. A maximum withdrawal multiplier caps the amount that converts to real money at the bonus amount times the multiplier; anything above it is forfeited.
Does the bonus system work in the Telegram Mini App?
Yes. The Mini App uses the same account and the same bonus balance, so a bonus claimed in the browser can be wagered in Telegram and the other way round.
