NGR
NGR is GGR minus costs attributed to the gaming activity — typically bonuses, and depending on the contract also payment fees, affiliate payouts and gaming taxes.
The trap is that no single definition of NGR exists. One agreement deducts bonus costs only; another also removes payment processing; a third takes out affiliate commission and duty as well. Each produces a different number from identical play.
This matters most when comparing commercial offers. A revenue share of 10% of NGR and one of 7% of GGR cannot be ranked without knowing precisely what the NGR contract deducts, and the lower-looking percentage is not always the cheaper deal.
The practical defence is to ask for the deduction list in writing before signing, and to model both figures against your own expected bonus spend rather than accepting a headline percentage.
