RNG
An RNG is the algorithm that determines game outcomes. In regulated markets it must be certified by an independent testing laboratory before the game can be offered.
The RNG sits inside the game provider's software, not the casino platform. An operator does not run it and cannot influence it, which is the point: separation is what makes certification meaningful.
Certification is issued per game by laboratories such as eCOGRA, GLI or iTech Labs, and it covers both the randomness of the generator and that the game's actual payout matches its stated RTP.
