Self-exclusion
Self-exclusion lets a player block their own access to a casino for a fixed period or permanently, and the operator must make the block effective immediately and irreversible for its duration.
The obligation goes beyond closing the account. An excluded player must not receive marketing, must not be able to open a second account, and in several jurisdictions must be registered with a national scheme that covers every licensed operator.
For the platform this is a real technical requirement: identity matching that survives a new email address, and a block that marketing automation respects without being told separately.
